Associates are welcome to attend formal halls, especially subject formal halls in their subject. They provide an excellent opportunity to chat with students over drinks and dinner. Undergraduates enjoy finding out about how their subject has been used in later life, and attending formal halls provides an excellent opportunity to build connections between the Associates and Directors of Studies.
